2010 FARMERS MARKET WORKSHOP

STEWARD, an initiative of Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas, will be hosting a two-day Farmers’ Market workshop. Day 1 will cover the ins and outs of starting and running a farmers’ market. Topics such as health rules, marketing, scheduling, attracting vendors, selecting a location, and much more will be discussed. Day 2 will be a hands-on workshop to assist applicant teams in developing a work plan to apply for a United States Department of Agriculture’s Farmers’ Market Promotion Program (FMPP) grant.
