OUTDOOR RECREATION GRANT WRITING WORKSHOP

Join Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Recreation Grants Staff as we walk you through the Outdoor Recreation grant application to assist you in writing a more competitive application. Eligible applicants include political subdivisions of the State of Texas with populations of 500,000 or less and who are legally responsible for providing public recreation services to their citizens. This includes cities, counties, river authorities, municipal utility districts and other special districts. Topics discussed will include an overview of the program, eligibility requirements, narrative instructions, components of a Master Plan, and scoring criteria.
